This Privacy Policy describes how Crystax Inc., doing business as Axiland Rhinestone Depot ("Axiland," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit, browse, or make a purchase from axiland.com and our affiliated site rhinestone.design (collectively, the "Sites").

This Policy applies to residents of the United States, the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), and California. Specific sections below address rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

A. Information You Provide

When you create an account, place an order, contact us, or sign up for marketing, we collect:

  • Payment information (processed securely by Shopify Payments and partners — we do not store full card numbers)
  • Order history and preferences
  • Custom design files, images, or sketches you upload (for orders processed via rhinestone.design)

When you visit the Sites, we automatically collect:

  • Pages viewed, products clicked, time spent, referring URL

3. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information with:

  • Service providers: Shopify (e-commerce platform), payment processors, shipping carriers, email service providers, LoyaltyLion (rewards), Google Analytics
  • Legal compliance: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • With your consent: Any other sharing with your explicit permission

5. Data Retention

  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

Order records are retained for 7 years for tax and warranty purposes. Marketing data is retained until you opt out. Account data is retained until you delete your account.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, PCI-DSS compliant payment processing through Shopify, and access controls. However, no transmission method is 100% secure. You use the Sites at your own risk.

7. Your Privacy Rights

A. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and share
  • Delete personal information we have collected (with limited exceptions)
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information

To exercise any of these rights, email support@axiland.com with subject line "Privacy Request", or call 1-833-AXILAND (1-833-294-5263). We will verify your request within 10 days and respond within 45 days. We do not charge a fee for verifiable requests.

B. EU / UK Residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to:

  • Access, rectify, or erase your personal data
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability (receive your data in machine-readable format)
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)
  • Lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority

Legal basis for processing: contract performance (orders), legitimate interest (analytics, fraud prevention), consent (marketing), legal obligation (tax records).

International transfers: Your data may be processed in the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and other safeguards for transfers outside the EEA/UK.

C. All Users

You may at any time:

  • Update your account information via your profile
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any email
  • Email support@axiland.com with subject "Privacy" for any privacy concern

8. Children's Privacy

The Sites are not directed to children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, email support@axiland.com with subject "Minor Data Concern" and we will delete it promptly.

For California residents: we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of minors under 16 without affirmative authorization.

9. Third-Party Links

The Sites may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies before sharing personal information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email (for account holders) or by prominent notice on the Sites.
