Application Instructions
- Choose a strong adhesive — E6000, E7000, or a rhinestone/gem glue (Gem-Tac works well on fabric).
- Apply a small dot of glue to the surface, or to the flat back of the stone.
- Place the rhinestone flat side down and press gently into position.
- Let the glue cure fully — usually 24 hours — before wearing or handling.
- For fabric items, wait at least 24–72 hours before the first wash.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply non-hotfix rhinestones?
They have a smooth flat back with no heat adhesive. Apply each stone with E6000, E7000, or any rhinestone/gem glue — no iron or heat press needed.
Can I use an iron or heat press on these?
No — non-hotfix rhinestones have no heat-activated adhesive, so heat will not bond them. If you prefer iron-on application, choose the Hot-fix version of this color.
What surfaces can I apply non-hotfix rhinestones to?
With the right glue they bond to both fabric and hard surfaces — tumblers, shoes, phone cases, wood, metal, and home decor. This makes them more versatile than hot-fix for non-textile projects.
How should I care for items with non-hotfix rhinestones?
Let the glue cure fully (24 hours or more) before use. For garments, turn inside-out and hand-wash or use a gentle cold cycle, then air dry. Avoid soaking.
What size should I choose?
SS6 (2.1mm) and SS10 (2.9mm) are ideal for detailed designs and fine outlines. SS16 (4mm) and SS20 (4.8mm) are the most popular all-purpose sizes. SS30 (6.5mm) and larger are great for statement pieces and high-impact designs.
